Self care means to you taking bath or painting your finger nails but it’s more than that. There are so many ways to take care of yourself but I’d share some of them with you.

Ask yourself

It seems easy to you to ask yourself what you really need but really sit down and think what you are really looking for.

It is to align yourself with your actions to take better care of yourself.

Make Nourishing meal

Something you really need to take care of is your meal nourishment. Make sure you are adding enough protein, fiber and fat etc.

Also, make sure the flavor is really good and satisfying. Make one of your favorite today.

Stop weighing yourself

There are actually few reasons for this. Weight is not the ultimate scale of someone being healthy.

Constantly weighing yourself adds stress and element of feeling unworthy. Manage your weight with the help of indicators and have positivity.

Be out once a day

Nature keeps you healthy and affects our mental health as well.

It’s a way to disconnect from our worries by getting fresh air once a day.

Slow Down your bedtime routine

We rush to our bed at the end of the day. We finish our work and rush to remove our makeup.

This time when you slow down you start to enjoy your work.

Schedule time for yourself

Make schedule if possible. Assign time to your friends, your family and your relationships.

Take time for reading journals, playing outside or have a good coffee. This will ultimately assure you happiness.

Nurture your relationships

It could be really simple. Have healthy relationships and have social connection with them for your mental health.

Spend quality time with your loved ones, exchange feelings and listen to each other.

Curate a healthy, positive social media environment

A lot of us spend much of their time on social media whether on facebook, instagram, youtube etc.

The accounts we follow and the things we see can definitely affect our mental health. Follow the people that provide you happiness instead of stress.

Disconnect from screens

Do it for an hour or so during the day to relax yourself.

It is very important for your mental health and for people around you.

Pinpoint sources of stress

One thing you can do is to sit down and listen to yourself what is actually the source of stress levels.

Are they things you can look at and bring changes to eliminate it?

Listen to your intuition

“Intuition is the whisper of the soul”

I really encourage you to do what you love to whether it’s about your job, business, you life, family or even your body.

Intuitions can provide you with valuable learning.
